1 Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with acute care hospital experience for an outpatient PT position requiring a CA license and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Outpatient physical therapy setting within a hospital campus Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (11:00-19:30) Sunday shifts are required Floating to the Summit campus is required as needed 13-week contract Requirements Current CA PT license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required Acute care hospital experience is required Must live or work more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates Additional Information Responsibilities include assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and address disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury Involves building confidence and cooperation with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent assessment and effective communication Must adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
