Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners as a Physical Therapist serving mostly PreK students in a school setting. Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure in California Experience providing PT services in schools strongly preferred Previous experience supporting students with special needs (SPED background preferred) Comfort and capability working with children in early childhood (PreK) settings Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly desired for supporting a diverse student population Collaborative spirit and ability to work well with educators, families, and other related service providers
Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy interventions to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Screen, assess, and document students' progress and therapy outcomes Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' access and participation within school routines Develop and implement strategies to help students achieve functional goals Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for PT services This position offers the chance to work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment with opportunities for renewal.
