This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist eager to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to encourage student growth and accessibility.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid California Physical Therapist license required Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Ability to assess and address a wide range of motor and mobility needs Excellent communication and organizational skills Adaptable and proactive approach to problem-solving
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse physical challenges Deliver direct therapy services to support student participation in educational activities Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and strategies Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress notes in accordance with educational standards Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and contributing to team decisions Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
