The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapy disciplines, including acute care, geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, and patient care. This role involves developing individualized care plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and ensuring optimal recovery for patients across diverse settings such as hospitals and outpatient facilities. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Utilize various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy to enhance patient recovery. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercises. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and effective discharge planning. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience in acute care, geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, or related fields is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Knowledge of best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
