Job Description

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week 2026-2027 school year Starts August 2026
  • Pay:
  • $2,812.50 per week

  • full-time School-Based Physical Therapist
  • to work with a school district in
  • Riverside, CA
  • for the full 2026-2027 school year. This is an onsite role with steady hours for the entire academic year. This PT will support students' access to education by addressing mobility, strength, and functional needs in the school setting while working closely with IEP teams.
  • What you'll do:
  • + Provide direct and consultative PT services to school-aged students + Complete evaluations, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring + Write and support IEP goals and service recommendations + Address gross motor skills, balance, posture, mobility, and functional access + Help students safely participate in classroom and school activities + Recommend and support use of adaptive equipment and modifications + Attend and participate in IEP and team meetings + Maintain clear and timely documentation and service logs + Coordinate with teachers, staff, families, and related service providers + Travel between school sites within the district as needed •What you need:•+ Active California Physical Therapist license + Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred + Comfort managing a full-time school caseload + Availability for the full 2026-2027 school year + Strong communication and organization skills + Reliable transportation for school site travel •Benefits•At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs •Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
