Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference across multiple campuses as an itinerant physical therapist serving students from early childhood through transition age. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a diverse, supportive educational environment while providing essential services to students with a range of physical needs. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid California physical therapy (PT) license required Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Ability to manage a flexible, districtwide schedule and travel to multiple locations Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with staff, students, and families Commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and varying physical needs Organizational skills to track service notes and student progress Comfortable managing a small caseload spread across several school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress evaluations to students across up to a dozen school locations Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress in accordance with school and district policies Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Adapt and implement physical therapy strategies to match each student's unique needs and goals Foster an inclusive and positive school environment through your expertise and encouragement Enjoy the variety and impact of a position that brings you into contact with many students, educators, and school communities.
