Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a physical therapist will shine in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a lasting impact by supporting students across a closely connected district. You'll be working with students during Extended School Year (ESY) sessions from June 15, 2026, to July 17, 2026, as well as continuing into the 2026-2027 academic year. Bring your specialized skills to a district-wide role where travel between schools is convenient and limited to nearby campuses. You'll collaborate with other dedicated educators and have the resources you need to promote students' mobility, independence, and participation in school life.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license required Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based physical therapy preferred Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic strategies for students of varying abilities Strong organization and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Experience maintaining required documentation and progress notes
Role Highlights:
Deliver therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs, focusing on functional outcomes in the school environment Design and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize student participation Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Support smooth transitions between school sites when necessary Monitor, document, and regularly report on student progress and outcomes
