In this vital role, you will assess patients' physical conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide them through exercises and therapies designed to promote recovery and improve overall well-being. Your expertise will empower patients to restore independence and enhance their quality of life through compassionate care and innovative therapeutic techniques. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical health, mobility, strength, and functional abilities to determine appropriate treatment strategies. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, goals, and medical history. Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, and other modalities to facilitate recovery. Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing progress. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive patient support. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Proven expertise in evaluating musculoskeletal conditions and designing effective rehabilitation programs. Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to improve patient outcomes through personalized care. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation. Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with state or regional licensing requirements.
