Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on student development while advancing your clinical skills as a Physical Therapist within a dynamic, supportive educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the full school year and is ideal for professionals who are energized by working with K-12 students in a collaborative atmosphere.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California Experience providing physical therapy services in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students Collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside educators, support staff, and families Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultative physical therapy services to students across K-12 grades Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student mobility, motor function, and school participation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and access to curriculum Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and recommendations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals as needed Educate staff and families on physical therapy strategies to enhance outcomes for students
