Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential physical therapy services for students in an educational environment. Support growth and development as a school-based PT, working part-time (15 hours per week, FSY) with a focus primarily on PreK students. This position is conveniently located near Kerman, CA, and offers a fantastic potential for contract renewal. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California Prior experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued Previous work with special education (SPED) populations preferred Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply Compassionate, flexible, and patient approach to therapy Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services primarily to PreK students in accordance with IEPs and state/federal guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress Assess, plan, and implement PT interventions for students with a range of developmental and physical abilities Document services; track progress and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy Take advantage of working a flexible part-time schedule while making a positive impact on students' lives.
