Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver expert physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals recovering from injury . Your expertise will help improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. You will play a key role in developing personalized care plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function, mobility limitations, and pain levels using detailed physiology and anatomy knowledge. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs, including discharge planning for seamless transition across care settings. Administer physiotherapy treatments such as trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing and restore function. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies based on clinical observations and response to therapy. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care in inpatient, outpatient, home health, or community settings. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and exercises to support ongoing recovery at home or in the community. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy essential for accurate assessment and effective treatment planning. Expertise in care planning for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Skilled in discharge planning processes ensuring smooth transitions across various care settings. Experience with physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics interventions. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
