Schedule/Hours:
8-10 hour shifts, clinic-based schedule
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility to test Up-to-date skills and certifications in physical therapy Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Continuing education or advanced coursework preferred Strong computer literacy, including EMR, Word, and internet Physical ability to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist patient transfers
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients using individualized rehab plans Supervise PT Assistants and Aides to ensure quality patient care Complete accurate patient documentation and ensure regulatory compliance Coordinate care and communication between physicians, staff, and patients Educate patients on therapy plans and answer questions with empathy and clarity Adhere strictly to HIPAA and privacy regulations Actively engage in business marketing and referral processes when required
