Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience in school-based settings, pediatrics, and/or healthcare environments Familiarity with IEPs and special education services Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and staff Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs in dynamic classroom settings Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational progress Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group formats Monitor, document, and report on student progress and outcomes Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce motor skills, mobility, and self-care Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district guidelines As a valued part of the school community, you'll be inspired every day by students' achievements and the collaborative energy of dedicated educators.
