Job Overview BACKtoGOLF Performance and Fitness Physical Therapy We are hiring a Physical Therapist (DPT/PT) for a flexible full-time or part-time role. We may also consider a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care and clinic operations - PTA compensation starts at $32/hour , with opportunities for growth based on experience. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, sports-oriented practitioner to join our team at BACKtoGOLF. We specialize in orthopedic injuries with a diverse client base of all ages. BACKtoGOLF is a privately owned PT practice located in Santa Rosa, California. Our facility includes private treatment rooms, cardio equipment, a full gym area, sports-related rehab equipment, and an indoor Aquatic Therapy pool. At BACKtoGOLF we are a passionate team of physical therapists with over 40 years of combined experience. We are committed to the health and wellness of our patients. We pride ourselves in providing a consistent rehab experience utilizing manual therapy and personalized rehab programs. We utilize WebPT for our documentation/scheduling. Experienced practitioners and new graduates will be considered. We offer a very competitive compensation package based on experience, fully paid benefits for full-time hours and continuing education compensation. Jeff Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing your physiology and anatomy knowledge to identify impairments and functional limitations Develop and execute tailored care plans incorporating evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics interventions Assist patients in rehabilitation through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at restoring movement and alleviating pain Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across inpatient, outpatient, home health, or community care settings Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize recovery outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes within electronic medical record (EMR) systems Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery Requirements Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapit Assistant in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience in acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with a strong focus on patient care Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to inform effective treatment planning Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and care coordination Experience in discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics Strong understanding of orthopedics, geriatrics, sports injuries, and trigger point therapy techniques Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team in inpatient or outpatient settings
Pay:
$45.00 - $65.00 per hour
