13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in an Acute Care and Acute Rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating a diverse patient population and willing to float to Acute Rehabilitation as needed following appropriate orientation. Schedule Day Shift Schedule determined by department needs Block scheduling considered at manager discretion Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required Acute Care experience preferred Acute Rehabilitation experience preferred or willingness to float to Acute Rehab after orientation First-time travelers accepted Patient Load Approximately 8-10 patients per day Required Licensure & Certifications Active State Physical Therapy License required Pending licenses not accepted BLS Certification required Required Skills Acute Care Physical Therapy Acute Rehabilitation Therapy Patient Evaluation and Assessment Treatment Planning Mobility and Transfer Training Gait Training Balance and Strength Training Discharge Planning Patient and Family Education Electronic Documentation Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Assist with discharge planning and equipment recommendations Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs Complete accurate and timely documentation within the EMR Float to similar therapy units as needed and within competency Technology Epic EMR For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
