Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Providing specialized physical therapy services in an outpatient setting, this role involves comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients to support their return to community activities. The therapist will develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This position includes delegation and oversight of discipline-specific therapy services and active participation in educational efforts for patients, families, students, and colleagues.

Arvada, CO — a vibrant community near the Rocky Mountains known for its outdoor recreational opportunities, friendly neighborhoods, and convenient access to the Denver metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations using clinical reasoning to create effective treatment plans focused on patient progress and discharge goals. Ensure all therapy services comply with physician orders, insurance requirements, and clinic policies. Maintain accurate, timely documentation including goal writing, quality indicator assessments, and letters of medical necessity. Promote patient and employee safety through adherence to safety protocols within the "10 Foot Circle of Safety," encompassing safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness. Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational codes of conduct. Participate in student education programs, providing supervision, learning objectives, and evaluations. Invest in continuous professional development and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred. Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills. Commitment to safety, quality care, and organizational core values. Ability to supervise therapy delegates and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
