Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) - PRN is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment programs for patients with physical impairments, functional limitations, and mobility deficits. The PT collaborates with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and improve quality of life. PRN staff work on an as-needed basis to provide coverage for patient care needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, and safety precautions. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as permitted by state regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Current CPR/BLS certification. Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Work Schedule PRN/Per Diem position with flexible scheduling based on patient census and organizational needs. $90 Per Recertification & Visit and $100 Per Admission.
