NEW GRADS WELCOME
• We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join growing our small outpatient clinic located in old town Erie. We are a collaborative group focused on restoring correct movement patterns to improved function and reduce pain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients with various physical conditions. Treatments are always 1:1 with 60 min evaluations and 45 min follow ups. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care practices in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Strong exercises prescription skills, progression and manual techniques preferred. New grads welcome to apply Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and self-care strategies. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving care. Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques. Skills Proficient in medical terminology relevant to physical therapy. Strong knowledge of orthopedics and anatomy to effectively assess and treat conditions. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including acute care environments. Familiarity with pediatrics is a plus for those working with younger populations. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and effective communication. Ability to develop discharge plans that support patient recovery post-treatment. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
