Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. This position offers the opportunity to work across inpatient and outpatient settings , providing diverse and rewarding patient care experiences. Position Highlights ✨ Sign-On Bonus Eligible ✨ Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings ✨ Supportive, team-oriented environment ✨ Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient recovery and independence Position Summary As a Physical Therapist at AVRMC, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs designed to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability. You will work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to help patients achieve their highest level of independence while adapting to physical limitations when necessary. Key Responsibilities Patient Evaluation & Treatment Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Administer physical therapy modalities and treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical agents to restore function Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Patient Outcomes & Education Help patients achieve maximum performance and functional independence Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and long-term care strategies Support patients in adapting to physical limitations and improving quality of life Collaboration & Professional Practice Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy Current Colorado Physical Therapist License Current BCLS Certification Additional Expectations Willingness to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient engagement skills Why Join AVRMC?
