2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient and orthopedic experience for a rural healthcare clinic in beautiful Westcliffe, CO. Details Outpatient setting within a rural healthcare clinic Specialty focus on outpatient and orthopedic care
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm (9-hour days with a 1-hour lunch); Fridays and weekends off 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient and orthopedic physical therapy Graduation from an
AMA-APTA
approved school of physical therapy required Active Colorado PT license required, or a permit from the Colorado licensing board while awaiting licensure examination (license required if applicable) Current CPR certification required Rehabilitation certifications (e.g., ASHA, CHT, ACP Training) may be required Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or American Registry of Physical Therapy Additional Information Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention strategies Duties include designing and modifying individualized therapeutic plans to help patients regain functional independence Role involves a focus on injury prevention and promoting health, wellness, and fitness across all age groups Candidate is expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries Opportunity to engage in knowledge-sharing with colleagues and contribute to physical therapy research and education Position is located in Westcliffe, CO — a scenic Colorado destination ideal for outdoor enthusiasts
