Schedule:
40 hours/week No weekends Day shift (7:00 AM•3:00 PM) 1st shift
Contract:
Open-ended (with sufficient notice prior to closure)
Work Location:
Rotating facilities based on operational need. Assignment is typically at one site at a time or paired nearby facilities depending on staffing needs.
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate individuals with physical disabilities, functional limitations, and mobility impairments Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on physician prescriptions Provide therapeutic interventions to improve: Strength, mobility, balance, and coordination Functional movement and gait Pain management and physical endurance Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately Recommend assistive devices, mobility aids, and adaptive equipment Train staff and caregivers on safe mobility techniques and therapeutic exercises Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning discussions Provide therapy in institutional, home, or community-based settings when required Escort individuals during community activities as needed Attend continuing education, workshops, and clinical training sessions Perform other related duties as assigned
Compensation:
$60.08/hour Hourly billing type #
VMS Pay:
$55.00•$60.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Physical Therapy License (Required)
