The position runs from July 1 to July 30, following a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule, 7:45 am to 1:00 pm—perfect for those seeking summer employment with afternoons free.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy license in Connecticut Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Strong understanding of IEPs and educational documentation Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families Excellent time management and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students across various grade levels Assess students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support students' functional mobility and participation in school activities Maintain accurate records and progress notes according to school and legal standards Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on adaptive equipment and strategies Ensure a positive, engaging atmosphere that fosters student participation and progress This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to make a difference within a supportive educational community—while enjoying a condensed summer workday.
