Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Put your expertise to work supporting students in a school setting near Stamford, CT as a Physical Therapist on a contract basis. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a direct impact in young lives by fostering their growth and helping them reach critical developmental milestones.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with valid credentials to practice in Connecticut Previous experience working within a school environment is ideal Strong understanding of pediatric therapy principles and individualized education programs (IEPs) Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with students, families, and educational teams Flexible, organized, and able to manage caseloads across multiple student needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students from a variety of backgrounds, focusing on motor skills and physical functioning Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Maintain accurate session notes, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required Consult with teaching staff and family members to ensure therapy strategies are integrated throughout the school day Adapt interventions and resources for optimal results in a dynamic educational environment
