Physical Therapist, PRN Location:
Torrington, Connecticut Company Description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as a PRN (as needed) employee. The successful candidate will provide skilled physical therapy services to our patients, emphasizing a patient-centered approach to care. This is a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide one-on-one physical therapy interventions, including but not limited to: exercises, modalities, and other therapeutic techniques Conduct patient assessments, set goals, and track progress towards achieving those goals Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or PT) Possess a valid physical therapy license in the state of Connecticut Minimum 0 years of experience in physical therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
