1 Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehab contract, with a DC license required. Details Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting specializing in pediatrics Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Average daily caseload of 5-8 patients Patient population is exclusively pediatric Productivity expectation of 10 half-hours per day Equipment available includes parallel bars, LiteGait, FES, aquatic therapy, wheelchairs, standers, adaptive strollers, and adaptive tricycles Documentation system: Cerner Block scheduling available upon request No weekend, on-call, or float requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required DC (Washington, D.C.) physical therapy license required Current BLS certification required License required if applicable Experience with pediatric patient population required Cerner experience preferred Additional Information Works within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team model Scrubs of any color accepted; no logos and must be child-friendly Local candidates are welcome to apply No RTO restrictions First-time travelers are not eligible for this position 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration All time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
