Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Empower a 6th-grade student to reach their fullest potential as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in a supportive school environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid PTA or PT licensure, with eligibility to practice in the state Experience working in school-based settings preferred, though not required Excellent communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to meet the needs of one student Comfortable providing direct, onsite services (remote work not available) Ability to establish rapport and motivate a middle school student
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person physical therapy services tailored to a 6th-grade student's unique needs Follow and adapt treatment plans based on clear, established goals Monitor progress and document each session in compliance with school and state guidelines Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support the student's educational and physical growth Maintain ethical and professional standards
