Job Description

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - North Wilmington is NOW OPEN and looking to grow our clinical team with the addition of a staff PT that will begin part time and transition to full time this summer . FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is a national brand with ~650 locations around the United States. Our PT practice offers full-spectrum orthopedic PT but our differentiation is on Balance and Vestibular Therapy. If you're looking for a change while also looking to deepen your skills and certification scope, FYZICAL offers free Continuing Education utilizing our own internal FYZICAL College learning platform. Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT), with a clear pathway to transition into a full-time role. In this engaging position, you will provide expert physiotherapy services across diverse settings, including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health, and community care environments. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through personalized care plans. Responsibilities Assess patients' physical conditions by conducting comprehensive evaluations of physiology, anatomy, and movement patterns. Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics. Deliver hands-on therapy sessions focused on improving mobility, strength, and function for patients across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions from hospital to home or community settings. Manage patient care documentation efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards. Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery strategies, and home & community care practices to promote ongoing wellness. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes in outpatient, inpatient, or home health environments. Experience Proven experience in physiotherapy within acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, or home health settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to diverse patient populations. Hands-on experience with discharge planning, care plans development, and implementing physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Background working with pediatric and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient contexts is highly desirable. Knowledge of orthopedics, geriatrics, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal rehabilitation enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive care. Previous experience in home & community care environments is a plus for supporting patients outside traditional clinical settings. Embark on a rewarding journey where your expertise transforms lives! Pay:
$65,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
