Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality therapy services in a hospital outpatient setting with a focus on patient safety, professional standards, and continual personal development. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled physical therapist who combines clinical expertise with a commitment to functional patient outcomes and adherence to ethical codes of conduct.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract role; hours to be discussed based on facility needs
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Physical Therapy license in good standing Comprehensive clinical reasoning and evaluation skills for diverse patient populations Familiarity with regulatory requirements and state practice acts for therapy services Strong communication skills for educating patients, families, and colleagues Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred Ability to promote patient and employee safety at all times
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, goals, and physician direction Implement, adjust, and monitor functional therapy programs to facilitate effective community reintegration Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for patients under your care Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of patient care, including treatment goals, assessments, and charge entry Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and peers, supporting a positive learning environment Uphold core organizational values around quality, teamwork, safety, and respect in daily practice Continually pursue professional development and apply new knowledge to advance organizational objectives Practice within ethical and legal guidelines while maintaining required licensure and pursuing continuing education Discover the opportunity to make a real difference in patient outcomes within a collaborative and safety-oriented environment.
