BayCare is currently in search of our newest Outpatient Physical Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Our experienced and compassionate team tailors each rehabilitation program to suit your unique needs so that you can reach your maximum potential.
Outpatient Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve functional outcomes. Provide one-on-one, patient-centered therapy in an outpatient setting. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Contribute to program development for neuro-focused services, including vestibular or balance training, gait rehabilitation, or cognitive-motor integration. Participate in continuing education and staff training related to neuro rehab. Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Fitness Specialists, Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant students and volunteers. Team members with temporary permits must work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist that has been licensed for a minimum of six months. A supervising licensed Physical Therapist may only supervise one permittee at any given time.
Certifications and Licensures :
Required BLS (Basic Life Support) Required PT (Physical Therapy) Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months

Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy Preferred Master's Physical Therapy Preferred Doctorate's Physical Therapy Preferred 1-year
