Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a physical therapist at an outpatient pediatric clinic in the Daytona Beach area, starting this August. This part-time opportunity calls for a dedicated PT to cover 2-3 days per week, focusing on delivering top-notch care for children and adolescents in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida Solid clinical skills in outpatient pediatric therapy Previous experience with evaluations and re-evaluations strongly preferred Effective communication with young patients and their families Strong documentation and organizational abilities Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and routine re-evaluations, which will make up the majority of your caseload Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs Deliver therapeutic interventions to foster developmental milestones and maximize function Track patient progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes Provide clear education and home exercise recommendations to families Maintain accurate, up-to-date records according to clinic protocols This position offers the unique advantage of a flexible part-time schedule, allowing you to balance professional growth with personal obligations.
