1 Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic and spine position requiring Epic proficiency and the ability to float to inpatient acute care as needed. Details Outpatient setting focused on spine and general orthopedics, including post-op conditions such as laminectomy, spinal fusions, rotator cuff repair, total joint replacements, and joint arthroscopies Must be available to float to inpatient acute care during patient cancellations or no-shows Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) 40-hour work week Epic used for documentation and scheduling Requirements Current FL PT license or compact license required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of recent experience in rehab or SNF settings Experience with surgical/trauma patients, total joint, neurological, and stroke cases required Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required BLS certification via AHA or ARC required Epic experience required Additional Information Responsibilities include assessing and reassessing patients and developing comprehensive plans of care addressing physical and functional status Ongoing modifications to the plan of care are made based on patient response to treatment Patient and caregiver education includes home exercise programs and safety techniques Role involves supervising and directing non-licensed support personnel Provides discharge recommendations in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Smoke-free facility Proof of vaccination status required; declinations are not accepted Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered at a local rate
