Full Job Description Position:
Physical TherapistAbout the Role A leading healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join a newly established, state-of-the-art acute care hospital opening in 2026. This modern, 90-bed facility will provide comprehensive emergency services, advanced surgical care, and a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team within a large, nationally recognised healthcare network committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Working Hours Day shifts with rotating weekends Typical hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Schedules may vary based on operational needs Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in patient recovery and rehabilitation, helping individuals regain mobility, strength, and independence following injury, illness, or surgery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing patients and developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team Delivering evidence-based therapy interventions to improve movement, reduce pain, and enhance overall function Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed Maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation Educating patients and families on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety practices Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions Supporting and mentoring therapy assistants or students where applicable Qualifications & Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist (state licensure required) Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire All experience levels considered, including new graduates (1+ year preferred but not essential) About the Facility Brand-new, full-service acute care hospital opening in 2026 Approximately 90 inpatient beds Comprehensive emergency department Advanced surgical services including minimally invasive and robotic procedures Dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit (approx. 30 beds) Benefits Package The organisation offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support employees' health, wellbeing, and career growth, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Prescription and mental health support Telehealth services Life and disability insurance Retirement plan with employer contributions Employee stock purchase program Generous paid time off and family leave Tuition assistance and student loan support Professional development and certification support Mental, physical, and financial wellbeing resources Employee discounts and lifestyle benefits Additional voluntary benefits (e.g. pet insurance, legal support, identity protection) Why Join?
