In this role, you will deliver expert physiotherapy services across diverse settings, including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans. This position offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery journeys. Responsibilities Assess patients' physical conditions by reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and utilizing physiology knowledge to develop tailored care plans. Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient therapy modalities to promote healing and functional improvement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery outside clinical environments. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and care plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems in compliance with healthcare regulations. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and adjust treatment approaches accordingly to maximize outcomes. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and relevant clinical guidelines to deliver high-quality care. Experience Proven experience working in inpatient hospital settings with acute care responsibilities or outpatient clinics specializing in orthopedics or geriatrics. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse patient populations including pediatrics and elderly patients in home & community care environments. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and collaboration with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient management. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy is essential. Prior experience utilizing EMR systems (PROMPT) for documentation and patient record management is preferred. Strong understanding of care plans development for various conditions including musculoskeletal injuries and neurological impairments.
