Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapy (PT) license for the state of Florida (or eligibility for reciprocity) Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or
BSPT/MPT
) At least 1 year of acute care or hospital-based PT experience preferred Strong documentation, assessment, and communication skills Ability to adapt smoothly to new teams and changing caseloads
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatments for diverse patient populations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied healthcare staff to deliver coordinated care Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs Maintain timely, accurate electronic medical records in accordance with hospital standards Contribute actively to interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives
