Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Deliver impactful rehabilitation services by evaluating, implementing, and modifying individualized therapy plans for patients in a hospital outpatient setting. This contract opportunity leverages your expertise to create functional, goal-oriented treatment programs that support patient recovery and effective reintegration into community activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and professional ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and physician direction. Delegate and direct therapy services within your discipline for assigned patients, ensuring optimal care. Monitor, revise, and implement functional treatment programs to encourage patients' progress toward discharge. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including goal setting, functional assessments, and charge entries. Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers to foster understanding and support for therapy outcomes. Promote a culture of safety by adhering to evidence-based practices in patient handling, infection control, and environmental awareness. Uphold personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality standards set by the clinic. Participate in clinical performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to enhance services. Engage in continuous professional development, fulfilling all clinical competency and state licensure requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, valid professional licensure as required by state regulations. Demonstrated clinical competency and experience in physical therapy within a hospital outpatient setting. Strong adherence to ethical conduct and discipline-specific codes. Ability to educate and supervise students, fostering a positive learning environment.
