Services is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric practice dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team and provide services across a variety of settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys flexibility, autonomy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team serving children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, genetic disorders, neurological conditions, and other pediatric diagnoses.
Qualifications Required:
Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) License in good standing Active NPI Number Florida Medicaid Provider Number (required) Professional Liability Insurance Reliable transportation Ability to travel between service locations Strong clinical and documentation skills
Preferred:
Pediatric therapy experience Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations. Administer and interpret standardized and non-standardized assessment tools. Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on evaluation findings. Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with the established plan of care. Assess and address gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, posture, endurance, functional movement, and motor planning skills. Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and mobility supports when appropriate. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, physicians, teachers, BCBAs, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Provide caregiver education and training to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies in natural environments. Complete timely and accurate documentation. Maintain compliance with Florida Medicaid requirements, HIPAA regulations, payer guidelines, and professional standards. Participate in interdisciplinary communication and case coordination as needed. Respond to documentation requests, audits, and compliance reviews related to services rendered. Maintain current licensure, Medicaid enrollment, certifications, and required continuing education.
