Case by case consideration Position Overview The Physical Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care by evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients in an acute care setting. This role collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support functional recovery and improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized therapy treatment plans Deliver therapeutic interventions within scope of practice Assess functional and rehabilitative status of patients Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and assistive devices Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans Prioritize caseload and support efficient daily therapy workflow Accurately document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment interventions Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license (state of Florida or eligibility required) Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field (minimum requirement) BLS certification required within 30 days of hire Minimum 2 years of acute care Physical Therapy experience required For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
