The role. The Physical Therapist conducts evaluations and delivers treatment interventions within the scope of practice defined by law and professional code of ethics. Core responsibilities include assessing and evaluating therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to contribute to each patient's total plan of care, and providing skilled, purposeful therapeutic care using techniques designed to produce measurable changes in condition and function consistent with the physician's plan. The therapist instructs patients, family members, and caregivers in exercises, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside of formal therapy sessions. Additional responsibilities include prioritizing caseload, determining daily staffing needs, and coordinating assignments and handoffs across the team. What we're looking for.
