Job Description:
Performs evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient conditions and progress. Establishes individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals. Discharges patients by completing necessary documentation and providing follow-up recommendations. Documents patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record. Charges for services rendered according to established billing procedures. Educates patients and caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and home care instructions. Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department. Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. Meets productivity standards defined by the department. Adapts to changes in patient census by adjusting work hours and assisting in other centers or programs as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Entry level professional competency of Physical Therapy practices, theory, principles and applications as defined in competencies departmental policy [Required] Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office and Windows. [Preferred]
Education:
Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
in Physical Therapy and five or more years of work experience in physical therapy Masters or Doctoral degree in
Physical Therapy Work Experience:
5+ of work experience in physical therapy [Required]
