Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' physical development by joining a dedicated school team near Saint Augustine, FL, for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist who thrives in collaborative educational settings and values the chance to make a lasting difference during a key transition period. You'll be covering a 12-week maternity leave at the start of the school year, with the possibility to begin earlier during the extended school year (dates to be confirmed). Working on-site, you will serve as an itinerant clinician, supporting multiple school locations and a diverse caseload of students. Your expertise will help students reach their goals and fully access their educational environments. What you'll bring: Current and active Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist license (FL DOH PT Licensure) Preferred experience in a school-based PT setting Ability to quickly complete fingerprinting and credentialing (previous prints from another FL district via AHCA may suffice) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with education teams and families Flexibility and willingness to serve multiple schools as needed Role highlights: Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to school-aged students Assess, document, and update student progress, collaborating with educational staff and families Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs Contribute to IEP meetings and provide timely goal updates Travel between school sites as assigned Immerse yourself in a rewarding position that directly supports students' growth and inclusion.
