The PT will provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care through comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This role focuses on improving patient mobility, restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting overall recovery and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Clinical Evaluation & Treatment Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed Patient Rehabilitation & Care Provide hands-on therapy services in an acute care environment Support patient recovery, discharge planning, and continuity of care Ensure safe and effective use of therapeutic equipment and modalities Patient & Family Education Educate patients and caregivers on therapy exercises, assistive devices, and recovery strategies Promote patient independence, safety, and long-term wellness Collaboration & Documentation Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher BLS Certification required within designated timeframe after hire New Graduates Welcome to Apply Preferred Qualifications Acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills Ability to manage patient caseloads in a fast-paced healthcare setting For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
