Description:
This Physical Therapist position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The Physical Therapist must be able to work independently, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patients functional needs. This Physical Therapist job requires dependable attendance, flexibility and the ability to work on weekends, holidays and late hours on a rotational basis as needed. Estimated pay range for this position is $41.93 - $54.51 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
Bachelors.
Licenses & Certifications:
Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification.
Additional Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree.
Minimum Required Experience:
Less than 1 year. Baptist Health South Florida is seeking an experienced, licensed Physical Therapist to support lymphedema management and treatment. Lymphedema certification is not required; however, candidates must have prior clinical experience as a practicing Physical Therapist. The selected candidate will receive specialty training in lymphedema therapy, including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, and patient education, while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Additional Incentive:
As a one-time exception for this department, we will cover the cost of obtaining the required certifications for Lymphedema and PORI to support professional development and attract candidates interested in these specialties. This exception is specific to this role and department and will be provided in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. EOE, including disability/vets
