Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Provide expert physical therapy care in a dynamic hospital rehab unit focusing on inpatient rehabilitation. This travel opportunity offers a guaranteed 40-hour workweek over a six-week assignment, with no return-to-office requirements, special scheduling accommodations, or attendance concerns typically encountered in similar roles.

Gainesville, FL Situated within a leading medical center's second-floor rehab unit, this setting offers a 30-bed capacity staffed by a multidisciplinary team of 22 professionals, including PT, OT, SLP, and rehab techs. Gainesville is known for its vibrant community, rich culture, and access to beautiful natural landscapes, making it a welcoming location for healthcare professionals seeking both growth and lifestyle balance.Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver skilled therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional mobility, ADL retraining, and transfers Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Document all patient care using the Meditech (Expanse) system Participate in weekend call rotations and support unit operationsQualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license and current BLS certification Experience in inpatient rehab or hospital-based physical therapy preferred Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, evolving hospital unit environment Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered carePerks:
