Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact with students from PreK through high school in a contract Physical Therapist position for the 2026-27 school year. Located just 20 minutes south of Atlanta, this opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student growth and collaborating with school teams in a dynamic educational setting. Your expertise in pediatric and school-based physical therapy will help young learners achieve their fullest potential, while you benefit from a predictable full-time schedule and the chance to work with a diverse age range. What we're looking for: Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience strongly preferred Ability to manage a 40-hour workweek Comfortable working with a diverse student population from PreK to high school Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Genuine interest in fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment Key responsibilities include: Assessing students' physical abilities and developing individualized intervention plans Implementing therapy in alignment with IEP goals, and continuously monitoring progress Collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Educating school staff and families on strategies to help students succeed Maintaining accurate and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional insights to student support plans This role offers the satisfaction of helping students thrive academically and personally, along with the professional rewards of working in school-based therapy.
