Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' growth and mobility in a dynamic school environment near Atlanta, GA. This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced Physical Therapist who thrives on working collaboratively and making a difference in children's lives. You'll step into a vital role within a school-based team, with assignments across several campuses (site locations to be announced). Your expertise will help students achieve increased independence and enhanced participation in educational activities. The position begins on May 23, 2026 and runs through June 30, 2026, offering both stability and the chance to gain valuable school-based experience.
Ideal candidates bring:
Active Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure in Georgia Prior experience providing PT services in schools or with pediatric populations Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, supporting collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to travel between multiple school locations (location details to be provided) Commitment to best practices and evidence-based therapeutic interventions Primary responsibilities include: Conducting assessments to determine students' physical development needs related to education Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans Delivering direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and other school settings Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to IEP meetings Training school staff and families on strategies to enhance students' abilities in daily school activities Adapting techniques as needed to ensure inclusion and accessibility Step into this rewarding school-based position and contribute to students' success in an educational setting. to lend your skills and compassion to an impactful assignment.
