Job Description

Physical Therapist (Part-Time) - Early Intervention | Decatur, GA We are hiring a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to support Georgia's Babies Can't Wait program, serving infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) with developmental delays. This is a flexible, high-impact opportunity for professionals passionate about pediatric therapy and early childhood development.
Position Details Role:
Part-Time Contract Physical Therapist Location:
Decatur and surrounding
DeKalb County Schedule:
20-24 hours per week
Pay Rate:
$55-$65/hour
Work Setting:
In-home visits, office-based sessions, and telehealth (WebEx) Responsibilities Conduct developmental evaluations to determine eligibility for early intervention services Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and support IFSP goals Deliver individualized physical therapy services in natural environments Complete timely and accurate documentation within the
BCW/BIBS
system Maintain compliance with all state and federal program standards Required Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent professional degree) Active Georgia PT license or eligibility for licensure Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Reliable transportation for local travel within DeKalb County Ability to pass a background check and provide valid credentials Preferred Qualifications Pediatric and/or early intervention experience Familiarity with Babies Can't Wait or similar programs Comfortable using telehealth platforms such as WebEx Why Join?
