Job Description
Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to support students' growth and success as a Physical Therapist working with PreK through high school-aged children. This full-time contract position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting while advancing your skills in both pediatric and school-based physical therapy. Situated 20 minutes south of Atlanta, you'll enjoy easy access to the city, as well as the vibrant community energy of the surrounding area.
Key Qualifications:
Active Georgia PT license required Experience in pediatric and/or school-based physical therapy highly preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school environments Exceptional organization and communication abilitiesDuties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students across PreK-high school settings, in accordance with IEP goals Evaluate students to determine functional abilities and therapy needs within an educational context Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support student participation and success Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate communication and student care Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multi-disciplinary team decisions This position offers a rewarding environment where you can see the results of your work in the everyday achievements of students.
