ASAP About the Position Job Title Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics Location Georgia Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM | Onsite Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned. Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements. Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations; apply learned information to meet organizational objectives. Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain). Required specialty focus in Orthopedics. New graduates are welcome to apply. Ability to complete documentation and goal writing in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines. Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control practices. Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives in a clinical environment. Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students.
