Physical Therapist / On Call Shriners Children's - 4.0 Honolulu, HI Job Details Per diem $44.50 - $66.75 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Bachelor's degree Basic life support Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. The Physical Therapist position provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral. We have an opportunity for a Per Diem / On Call Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team. This is a non-exempt and benefits eligible position. The pay range for this position is $44.50 - $66.75 per hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. Provides comprehensive, compliant, and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care, a commitment to the achievement of optimal patient outcomes in alignment with the standards of practice of their professional organization. Works with the medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family. Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as: mentoring, and providing education to students and other professionals. Supports the ongoing development and improvement of the department through participation in special projects, performance improvement and facility committees. Responsible for professional growth and development through ongoing education and research in alignment with hospital's patient care and strategic direction. Education Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. Certification/Licensure licensed in state of practice required American Heart Assosciation Basic Life Support Certification required PCS, OCS, NCS and CHT preferred Skills 1 year physical therapy experience preferred New graduates considered Pediatric and/or Sports experience preferred
