Position:
Physical Therapist Location:
Kailua, Hawaii Job Type:
10-99 with flexible hours; must be available during after-school hours at least 1-2 times a week.
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate the physical abilities and developmental challenges of pediatric clients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Utilize a variety of techniques, including hands-on therapy, strengthening and stretching exercises, and the use of equipment as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care. Educate and support families to ensure the continuation of therapeutic plans at home. Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current Hawaii state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to children and their families.
